The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA’s 16th annual Telethon for the Animals was a big success, raising more than $285,000 in gifts and pledges for the animals. On Saturday, March 23rd the live broadcast aired on KFMB Channel 8. The program featured adoptable pets, informative videos about the Humane Society’s programs, heartwarming animal stories, the latest animal-related news and more. The funds raised will benefit the animals in the San Diego community and support the vital community programs of the San Diego Humane Society.
