Ascent Real Estate Agents Host Free E-Waste Collection

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 5, three of Ascent Real Estate’s Mission Hills’ community Realtors®, Megan Beauvais, Jen Rix and Sabine Steck, will team up with All Green Electronics Recycling to host an E-waste recycling collection at Grant K-8, 1425 Washington Place in Mission Hills. The event is free and open to the public to anyone interested in disposing their E-waste in a safe and secure environment. Items that will be accepted include computers, monitors, printers, TVs, VCRs, stereos, and other electronic equipment–anything with a plug and circuit board.

Furniture, household hazardous waste and kitchen appliances will not be accepted. All proceeds resulting from recycling will be donated directly to Grant K-8. Beauvais, Rix and Steck Megan, Jen have joined together in partnership with the school and continue to seek innovative ways to raise money to support the programs that are at risk year after year such as the library and science and music classes.
