Kick off the holiday season by spending the weekend at the annual San Diego Holiday Art Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, Friday, Dec. 2 through Sunday, Dec. 4.

The show is produced by Warren Cook, creator and producer (from 1972-1989) of the famed Harvest Festival and more recently the San Diego Art Festival. Cook says, “The Holiday Art Festival is the ideal place to get a big start on your holiday shopping or to find that perfect piece of art or craft for your home.”

The festival will feature 200 of America’s best contemporary craft and fine art exhibitors, offering over 12,000 original works. Every category of fine art and contemporary craft – including paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, photography, jewelry, pottery, wood, mixed media, clothing, weaving, glass, metal and stone – will thoroughly be represented by a variety of artists.

Several artists will also be demonstrating how they make their unique arts, giving attendees an up-close and fun experience. For more information, visit www.holidayartfestival.com or call (805) 461-6700.
