Mingei International Museum Performances

Newly named as Mingei Artists-in-Residence, Camarada begins this new venture at 6 p.m., Sunday, February 17th with Tango Nuevo (best of Piazzolla) in the beautiful and culturally rich setting of the Mingei International Museum.

Mingei Museum will open its doors at 5:00 p.m. for docent tours and a special viewing of Make Your Own Kind of Music – The Art of Musical Instruments. San Diego’s Scott Paulson will demonstrate the theramin and even let you try your hand at the instrument.

The concert will be introduced at 6:00 p.m. by Mingei Director Rob Sidner in the Rotunda of the museum. The performance will last slightly under 2 hours with time for mingling at intermission.
