Funds to Thwart Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Elder Abuse

This year’s Center for Community Solutions’ successful Tea on the Town charity event scaled new heights for overall community support by grossing $178,000 in contributions. This community accomplishment will help prevent sexual assault, relationship violence and elder abuse. Meredith Baxter, Emmy-nominated actress who co-starred in the long running NBC sitcom “Family Ties,” shared her moving story, titled “Breaking Family Ties: Empowering Ourselves to Overcome Domestic Violence,” with the attendees.
