The Party in the Park has raised nearly $3 million to support the San Diego Automotive Museum and its programs, including the IGNITE Academy, since 2021. This innovative program combines career exploration, independent research, and skill-building through project-based hands-on learning to prepare students for internships and other pathways towards successful careers in the automotive industry. The IGNITE program is ideal for students in high school, who are not four-year bound, and provides mentorship, guidance, and early career exposure and experience, all at no cost to the students.
