Founded in 2001 on a 142-acre ranch in Alpine, California, Lions Tigers & Bears is Southern California’s only Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) and American Sanctuary Association (ASA)-accredited sanctuary dedicated to rescuing and providing lifelong care for over 60 big cats, bears, and other exotic animals. The nonprofit offers naturalistic habitats, on-site veterinary care, and educational and volunteer programs that promote compassionate wildlife stewardship and raise awareness about the exotic animal trade.
