17th Annual Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade & Pups in the Pub Party
San Diego’s favorite feel-good, holiday tradition is back. The 17th Annual Gaslamp Holiday Pet Parade & Pups in the Pub Party. returns to the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter on Saturday, December 13, 2025, bringing wag-worthy cheer, festive costumes, and community fun to downtown’s most historic district.
Before the paw-rade begins, kick off the festivities at the pre-party at Nason’s Beer Hall at Pendry Hotel from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sip, snack, and mingle with fellow pet lovers while showing off your holiday spirit. Then head just steps away to the Gaslamp Archway for parade check-in and judging registration.
At 1 p.m., the Holiday Pet Parade struts off beneath the iconic Gaslamp Quarter Archway, featuring dogs, cats, and even exotic pets dressed to impress. Expect Santa Paws, elf pups, and reindogs galore as a panel of judges awards prizes in categories including Best Holiday Spirit, Best Matching Costumes, and the coveted Best in Show.
After the parade, the celebration continues at the Pups in the Pub Party from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Enjoy live music, craft beer, games for pets and people, boutique shopping, photo ops, and festive fun for all. Registered participants will receive complimentary goody bags and access to the after-party.
Registration is $30 and includes Parade entry fee, festive photo op trail, a complimentary goodie bag, admission to the Pups in the Pub Party and eligibility for “paw-mazing” awards.
