Brooklyn Girl Celebration and Funraiser
On Sunday, April 16, Brooklyn Girl, Mission Hills’ newest eatery, opened for a “funraiser” to support the Mission Hills Concerts in the Park. This is the 19th Annual Concerts in the Park that is held at Mission Hills/Pioneer Park on Washington Street. The concerts begin after 4th of July.
Michael and Victoria McGeath offered to hold the event almost a year ago, when they had just became tenants of the new establishment located at the corner of Goldfinch and Fort Stockton in the 1Mission property in Mission Hills.
Despite various challenges and a delay with its opening, the event was held. Hundreds of people from Mission Hills and surrounding communities came to experience the new eatery and join the fun.
