Alec is a gentle, three-year old, terrier/chihuahua mix with a very loving nature. While Alec can be a bit shy with new faces and places, he warms up quickly as he becomes more familiar with his environment. With bright eyes and a precious face, Alec and his sweet personality are looking for a special home where he’ll be a cherished member of the family.

Alec would do best in a quiet, feline-free, adult-only home.

Lorena is a sweet, 14 year-old, domestic long hair. She is a gentle soul who is looking to live out her golden years in a loving home. Being a senior kitty, Lorena tends to enjoy activities such as napping in a sunny window, sleeping in a cozy bed, or dozing in the nearest person’s lap. Friendly, affectionate and social, Lorena is easy to love and a joy to be around.

Lorena will do best in a home with adults only or older, respectful children, since she can be a bit shy with new faces and places. Lorena loves her people so much, she’d prefer not to share them with other animals.

Both Alec and Lorena’s adoption fee is only $25 and includes spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam. And both are also candidates for San Diego Humane Society’s Seniors for Seniors Program.

Alec is located at the North Campus of the San Diego Humane Society, located at
