The San Diego Zoo is Open Late with the Return of Nighttime Zoo

| June 10, 2025 | 0 Comments

The San Diego Zoo, located at 2920 Zoo Drive in the Uptown area of San Diego, invites visitors to join in the fun of Nighttime Zoo, a summertime experience that offers guests the chance to explore the Zoo at night when it’s usually closed to the public. Now through Sunday, August 10, the Zoo will be open late and filled with live music, spectacular entertainment, and one-of-a-kind moments with nocturnal wildlife.

During Nighttime Zoo, the San Diego Zoo is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Activities will begin at 3:30 p.m. daily. They will include high-energy trampoline shows; the awe-inspiring talents of Tanzanian acrobats; interactive and educational presentations with fan-favorite Dr. Zoolittle; and the opportunity to experience music and dancing from across East Africa. The “Jambo Dunia!” performance will bring together live music, fanciful wildlife puppets, dazzling dancers and acrobats in an interactive celebration of Africa’s savannas and all who share these vibrant ecosystems.

With each visit during Nighttime Zoo this summer, wildlife allies will help support San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance in its mission to save wildlife worldwide and help create a world where all life thrives. To learn more, visit https://zoo.sandiegozoo.org/nighttimezoo.

This Father’s Day let dad relax with a well-deserved gondola ride.
