Holiday Art Market and Feature Exhibit of Award Winning Artists
The Studio Door is proud to kick off the holiday season with its much-anticipated Holiday Art Market, featuring small original works by over 30 local and regional artists, all priced under $500. The market opens with a festive public reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, November 8 at The Studio Door, located at 3867 Fourth Avenue, San Diego, CA 92103 offering art lovers a unique opportunity to find affordable, one-of-a-kind gifts while supporting the local creative community.
As a centerpiece of the market, The Studio Door welcomes back three award-winning artists — Roberta Dyer, Michele Joyce, and RD Riccoboni — for a special feature exhibition that celebrates the bold, diverse voices shaping San Diego’s contemporary art scene.
Roberta Dyer returns with striking new work that delves into the strength and vulnerability of the animal world, rendered through her signature layered imagery, masterful line-work, and expressive compositions.
Michele Joyce brings her rebellious joy and spontaneous energy to the gallery walls, offering viewers a colorful, unfiltered look at life’s absurdities and beauty.
Joining them is celebrated painter RD Riccoboni, known for his vibrant depictions of San Diego’s architecture, LGBTQ+ culture, and community spirit. Riccoboni’s work adds an iconic, uplifting voice to the exhibition, making this a truly special showcase of talent.
“For discerning collectors, this is a rare opportunity to experience and acquire work from three of San Diego’s most accomplished contemporary artists,” said The Studio Door founder, Patric Stillman. “Combined with the diverse offerings of our Holiday Art Market, this show reflects the creativity, humor, and resilience that define our region’s artistic identity.”
The Holiday Art Market runs through the season, with rotating selections and new works added regularly. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or looking for the perfect gift, there’s something for every art lover at The Studio Door.
