At 7 p.m., Friday, November 28 and 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., Saturday, November 29, BalletCenter Studios presents “Clara & the Nutcracker Soldier” at the The Joan B. Kroc Theatre, located at 6845 University Ave, San Diego, Ca 92115. Choreographed by Artistic Director, Michelle G. Noblejas-Bartolomei, Trystan Merrick, and Maxine Mahone, this warm-hearted tale turns nursemaids into sugarplums and greedy headmistresses into rat queens. Follow the young orphan Clara on her search for the meaning of family. This magical journey takes us from her boarding school battles to a land of snow queens and sweet dreams. Ascending through the clouds with her guardian angel, Clara’s dream for a better life comes to fruition in a joyful feast of sweet treats for everyone.

Committed to delivering comprehensive ballet education, the long established community studio welcomes students of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Three times a year, these aspiring dancers are given the unique opportunity to demonstrate their progress and new skills through on-stage performances in front of a live audience. These events not only showcase their hard work but also immerse them in the entire process of live theater, from rehearsals to the final curtain call. Information and tickets are offered at  BalletCenter Studios Website.
