“Summer Nights at Comic-Con Museum ®”
Comic-Con Museum has announceda new after-hours event series, Summer Nights at Comic-Con Museum, which began on Friday nights, that will run through July 19 (excluding July 5), from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.Guests can enjoy an interactive evening of cosplay, competitive puzzling, games, craft-making, friendly competition, and more.
Programming will feature nights with the following themes:
- Makerspace, Friday, July 12 (kid-friendly): In this hands-on crafting experience, guests will have the chance to explore, design, and create a variety of unique projects.
- Zombicide Game Night, Friday, July 19: Zombies are wreaking havoc across town, and the more you kill, the more they appear. How will you and your team survive?
“Our event series expands our hub for the popular arts and extends the learning and fun around shared interests, competition and fandoms,” says Comic-Con Museum Executive Director Rita Vandergaw.
Summer Nights at Comic-Con Museum evenings are free for all Museum members and $15 for the public. Snacks, beer, wine and other beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event except for Makerspace on Friday, July 12 (kid-friendly event).
Museum exhibits are not open during Summer Nights event. Attendance is limited for each event. Event admission is not included with general admission Museum tickets, as exhibits will be closed during Summer Nights. General admission will close at 5 p.m. during this event series.
