“The Nutcracker” Returns to Casa Del Prado in Balboa Park
Historic San Diego Youth Ballet (SDCYB) celebrates the joy and spirt of the holiday season with the beloved family tradition of presenting “The Nutcracker” at the Casa Del Prado Theatre, located at 1800 Village Place in Balboa Park from Wednesday, December 11 through Sunday, December 22, 2024.
Enjoy the holiday season by taking an extraordinary journey to the magical Land of the Sweets with brave young Clara and her Nutcracker Prince in San Diego Civic Youth Ballet’s annual production of “The Nutcracker.” Witness an epic battle between toy soldiers and mice before being whisked away to an enchanting land of falling snow, waltzing flowers, and the dance of the “Sugar Plum Fairy!” This production is directed by SDCYB Artistic Director Danika Pramik-Holdaway and set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score.
