In its 44th season, California Ballet Company enthusiastically announces a production of “Cinderella” at the San Diego Civic Theatre, Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6 in downtown San Diego. Choreographed by Eugene Ballet Artistic Director, Toni Pimble, and featuring Serge Prokofiev’s score, this production boasts a seasoned cast including California Ballet Company Ballerina Chie Kudo and International Guest Artist Vadim Solomakha in the lead roles. Principal Dancers Bernadette Torres and Carlo Di Dio will also be featured.

This ballet was originally created for Oregon’s Eugene Ballet Company, and premiered on the California Ballet Company in 2008. The two ballet companies have a long history of collaboration. Ms. Pimble’s full length Cinderella was produced for California Ballet Company’s 40th season in 2008, and is now a permanent part of the company’s repertoire.
