San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina’s New Restaurant

| June 1, 2012 | 0 Comments

The San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina has launched a new restaurant Marina Kitchen. A part of the hotel’s new renovation initiative, Marina Kitchen’s design concept was created with the intention of accommodating group and leisure clientele in a multitude of dining configurations. Each component of the restaurant has been carefully plotted to form a flexible meeting and dining space, with each area delivering a different dining experience, said Steve Pagano, Marriott Marquis Hotel Manager.

Marina Kitchen is an all-day dining venue specializing in modern comfort food and features a locally produced and seasonally fresh menu from the land and sea. The restaurant’s wine by the glass program has a distinct West Coast orientation with a strong bias towards California wines and features a keg wine system that showcases a list of “barrel sample” wines.

The setting at Marina Kitchen offers some spectacular visual options.

Boasting over 19,000 square feet of space, Marina Kitchen offers private event seating for up to 200 guests, four private dining rooms and boardroom-like spaces equipped with the latest technology seating anywhere from eight to 48 guests, and an outdoor terrace seating up to 35 guests. With natural lighting and a vibrant setting during the day to contemporary ambiance with patterned lighting by night, Marina Kitchen’s décor and atmosphere adjust with the time of day, drawing inspiration from its scenic coastal surroundings and San Diego’s quintessential Southern California lifestyle.
