The Parson Redheads’ newest LP, “Yearling,” out now on Arena Rock Records, with vinyl released via Parson Farm/Timber Carnival Records, was recently profiled on NPR’s “World Café:Next,” featuring album tracks “Burning Up The Sky,” and “Kids Hanging Out.”  A band whose music is reminiscent of the West Coast psych-folk scene, they’ve been favorably compared to the Beatles and Fleetwood Mac, with their lush four-part harmonies and tremendous lead vocals by singer Evan Way.  This is an album that feels like it’s from another generation.  Said a reviewer for L.A Metronomix:  “This impossibly pretty gang of California love and harmony plays like Brian Wilson never lost his mind and instead spawned a new generation of composers to finish his teenage symphony to God …. imagine Fleetwood Mac making “Rumours” without the cocaine and wife-swapping.”  The Parson Redheads will appear in concert at the Casbah, 2501 Kettner Blvd in San Diego on October 6 with the band Viva Voce.  Tickets can be reserved at www.casbahmusic.com  For sound samples, go to www.parsonredheads.com.
