Rancho La Puerto Offers a Haven of Wellness and a Walking Tour

Based at Rancho La Puerta, attendees will explore James’s artistic touch through visits to the Museo Kumiai and other key locations by hiking through Tecate in small groups. This trip includes lunch, transportation to/from the US/Mexico border to/from Rancho La Puerta and is best for those in fit physical condition.

Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, the home base for this exclusive tour is the world-renowned Rancho La Puerto Resort & Spa. This haven of wellness will be the sanctuary for inspiration and connection with nature as attendees visit several Hubbell installations around the property. Bask in spaces like Las Piedras Environmental Center, a nature center that was once gifted to the Tecate community, and enjoy a world class lunch at Tres Estrellas, an organic farm and kitchen.

Rancho La Puerta’s President Sarah Brightwood, who facilitated the collection of the Kuchumaa Passage in 1989, will also be featured in a Saturday Social Tour at the Ilan-Lael Center on Saturday, June 14. Tour participants will learn about her experiences building the process of the Kuchumaa Passage alongside James Hubbell and Milenko Manatovic.
