48th Annual Haute with Heart Fashion Show on Saturday, August 15th
St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC), a nonprofit organization that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host the 48th Annual Haute with Heart Fashion Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, August 15 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in Downtown (1 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101).
This year’s theme, “Hidden Diamonds,” honors the organization’s 60-year legacy of recognizing the dazzling brilliance in every ability. Guests will step into an elegant afternoon designed to reflect the sparkle and sophistication of the theme, beginning with a chic pre-luncheon reception featuring live music, boutique shopping, a silent auction, and free-flowing champagne. The celebration will continue with a gourmet luncheon, surprise entertainment, an exciting live auction, and the signature runway show.
The runway show will also shine a spotlight on the extradentary talents and individuality of SMSC students, who proudly model and strut down the runway. The event is a showcase of fabulous styles and the spectacular skills and confidence of SMSC students, all while commemorating the center’s milestone anniversary.
All proceeds from the event benefit SMSC’s nationally recognized innovative programs that allow students to develop creative outlets, learn marketable skills, and gain a sense of independence and self-esteem. For six decades, SMSC has combined a culture of care and creativity within quality programs to provide education, practical skills development, and employment. Over 400 students attend SMSC, ranging from recent high school graduates to seniors well into their eighties.
This year’s Haute with Heart also includes a generous matching pledge opportunity for supporters. Every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar thanks to the incredible generosity of SMSC donors, doubling the impact for programs that help students continue to thrive.

All tickets include complimentary champagne during the pre-luncheon reception, a full-course luncheon, and complimentary parking.
