Golfers Invited to the 44th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday, October 9th

Home of Guiding Hands, a nonprofit organization that provides quality support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its 44th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday, October 9th at Singing Hills Golf Club at Sycuan on the Oak Glen Golf Course (3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, CA 92019).

The event will kick off at 7 a.m. with registration, complimentary coffee, breakfast and Bloody Mary’s, followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Along with the 18-hole tournament, there will be a putting contest and additional activities for players on the course. Players will also enjoy complimentary beverages, on-course food stations throughout the day. 

Following the tournament, golfers will gather on the banquet lawn for an awards reception featuring drinks and a raffle drawing.

All proceeds will directly benefit Home of Guiding Hands’ services supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and their families. As one of the largest providers of IDD services in San Diego County, HGH serves more than 5,100 infants, adolescents, and adults through programs including housing, early childhood development, independent living skills, life planning, and respite. 

This year’s event is presented by the Kerr Family Foundation. Golfers are encouraged to register now to secure their individual spot or foursome in the tournament.
