“Snow White” Performed by the BalletCenter Studios
BalletCenter Studios presents the classic tale, “Snow White,” featuring choreography adapted from “La Fille Mal Gardée” and “Coppelia.” A timeless fairy tale comes to life on stage in “Snow White”; a captivating production that blends classical choreography with a traditional and beloved story. With expressive story-telling, and vivid visual design, this performance reimagines the classic story with themes of innocence, jealousy, and triumph in a ballet for audiences of all ages to enjoy.
Audiences can look forward to a magical tale brought to life through classical ballet with the three performances to be presented at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., Saturday, May 30, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 31 at the Joan B Kroc Theatre, located at 6611 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92115. Committed to delivering comprehensive ballet education, the long established community studio welcomes students of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Three times a year, these aspiring dancers are given the unique opportunity to demonstrate their progress and new skills through on-stage performances in front of a live audience. These events not only showcase their hard work but also immerse them in the entire process of live theater, from rehearsals to the final curtain call.
