Surfin’ Santa Rings in the Holidays San Diego-Style

Seaport Village will kick off the holidays with free festive events for locals this season. The Surfin’ Santa’s arrival headline the entertainment calender and locals and visitors in search of festivity can enjoy live musical performances all season long.

Surfin’ Santa and his longboard will arrive on November 26 as he celebrates the holidays in true Southern-California style. Santa will arrive by pirate ship sporting board shorts and flip flops for pictures with kids and families on his giant surfboard and wave.  Families will gather on the boardwalk at 1 p.m. to welcome Santa to San Diego as he arrives on the San Diego Bay. Kids can pose with the sun-kissed Santa on his surfboard from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. that day.

Surfin' Santa arrives in November to begin the holiday season.

Weekends at Seaport Village mean free live music. Buster’s Beach House is hosting live music every Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. Every Saturday from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., catch live music at the independent coffee shop, Upstart Crow.  And literature aficionados can enjoy Shakespeare Readings on the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Free musical performances take place at Seaport Village every Sunday from 1-4 p.m. in the East Gazebo.
