Thanks to Our City Officials Chaos is the New Norm

If I was a current official (elected and chosen) for the City of San Diego, I would be truly embarrassed with the way the public at large, their constituents, are being treated and feel about their failures.

Every day we see more chaos and failures happening around us, all because of the agendas of the current mayor of San Diego and those who choose to align themselves with special interest groups, over doing what is best for the people of this city.

In the 25 years that I have been publishing the Presidio Sentinel, I’ve never experienced anything as bad as what is happening every single day in the City of San Diego.  It is truly embarrassing!

There’s coercion, manipulation, lies, deceit, failures that are permeating this city due to these elected officials who have thrown out ethics, morals, values, quality of character from the way they operate and function on a daily basis.

Why does anyone do this?

It’s because of greed and arrogance, which leads to total ignorance.

In this issue there are several articles about what is destroying the character and quality of life of San Diego.  Uptown Planners’ board elections this past month was a total failure, and the city officials shrug their shoulders and say, “So what!”

The Kettner and Vine Street, 1000-person homeless facility continues to be a major topic of conversation every day. Now people from throughout the city of San Diego are voicing their concerns about the financial waste and inhumane conditions that will permeate from this “greed driven” agenda by Mayor Gloria.

Thousands of people are telling the city every day that this is a waste of time, money and resources.  And it will fail!

However, as we have come to realize, the city staff, starting with Gloria, will shrug their shoulders and say, “So what!”

Well, fortunately, many of us don’t agree.  That’s why groups across the City of San Diego are being created to push back at the insanity of these city officials.

I encourage you to be present at the upcoming, 10 a.m., Saturday, September 7 rally that will take place at the proposed Kettner and Vine Street, 1,000-person homeless facility, located at 3553 California Street.  Together we can make a difference to bring attention to what is wrong at City Hall and stop the insanity that wastes valuable resources and lives.
