Committed to delivering comprehensive ballet education, the long-established community studio welcomes students of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Three times a year, these aspiring dancers are given the unique opportunity to demonstrate their progress and new skills through on-stage performances in front of a live audience. These events not only showcase their hard work but also immerse them in the entire process of live theater, from rehearsals to the final curtain call.
This production acts as the foundation for students who will attend summer programs in the following months of June, July, and August. It provides a pivotal checkpoint and a chance to hone their skills in preparation for a rigorous summer of dance, where they often train for five to nine hours a day, six days a week. These programs can lead to traineeships and apprenticeships with students being accepted into prestigious ballet centers, including Royal Ballet School, Dutch National Ballet, English National Ballet, San Francisco Ballet School, School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Washington Ballet, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet West, Colorado Ballet, Kaatsbaan, and others.
