Nick “Nico” Navatta has lived a life full of creativity and adventure, blending his Southern roots with an artistic spirit. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Navatta moved to San Diego in 2003 to pursue fine art and soon discovered his passion for the open water. With a background in art and animation, Nico brings creativity and flair to his work as a gondolier. His love for the ocean, wildlife, and physical activity has kept him rowing with The Gondola Company for over 8 years. Whether it’s serenading guests or sharing stories of the local area, Navatta’s goal is to create memorable moments for everyone who steps aboard his gondola.
Luke “Luciano” Andreen, a classically trained musician with a degree in Vocal Performance from USC, brings his musical talents to every gondola cruise. With years of experience in the San Diego Opera chorus and as a local performer, Luciano’s love for music is as deep as his passion for the water, adding a unique and memorable touch to every cruise.
Grace “Giulia” Gladding is a passionate academic and water sports enthusiast, soon starting a master’s in library science. She has been with The Gondola Company for over three years, bringing a unique perspective to her role as a gondolier.
