Winter Wonderland Fashion Show and Luncheon
The Arc of San Diego is thrilled to announce our annual Winter Wonderland Fashion Show and Luncheon, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at The US Grant Hotel, located at 326 Broadway. This year’s enchanting theme, “Marching into the Holidays; A Nutcracker Extravaganza,” promises a spectacular celebration of fashion, festivity, and philanthropy. All proceeds support The Arc of San Diego’s life-changing programs for individuals with disabilities.
Doors open at 10 a.m. with check-in, holiday shopping boutique, and silent auction and at 12 noon will be the luncheon, live auction and fashion show. Guests will have the opportunity to support The Arc of San Diego while shopping at local boutiques and bidding on alluring auction items. Proceeds help The Arc of San Diego continue providing essential life services such as day training, employment, and residential living services to more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities.
Mary Murphy,acclaimed choreographer and dance personality, will be the emcee for this wonderful event. Murphy is an American ballroom dance champion, accredited dance judge, and former judge and choreographer on the Fox dance competition-reality show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” She has an impressive list of competitive accomplishments, including winning the prestigious Austrian National Championships and creating her dance academy, Champion Ballroom Academy. Murphy’s extensive experience in ballroom dance, coupled with her vibrant personality, has made her a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
Dr. Howard and Barbara Milstein are honorary chairs, alongside the dedicated event chairs Maria Stanley, Laura Applegate, Cici Drummond, Erica Ram, Malissa Sanfilippo, and Jenny Seligmann. The honorary committee includes Dee Ammon, Marla Black, Lynne Doyle, Vicki Eddy, Arlene Esgate, Judi Gottschalk, Danica Grimm, Daran Grimm, Susan Italiane-Leonard, Roxi Link, Christina Maggiora, Cheryl Mitchell, Ludvina Nevarez, Micki Olin, Angelica Palmerin, Gloria Parker, Kristi Pieper, Sandy Redman, Barbie Spinazzola, Kathryn Vaughn, Natalie Walter Jones and Maggie Watkins. Clint Bell, renowned auctioneer and event host, will be leading the live auction with his engaging energy.
