Home of Guiding Hands, a nonprofit organization that provides quality support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will host its 42nd Annual Charity Golf Classic on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Singing Hills Golf Club at Sycuan on the Oak Glen Golf Course (3007 Dehesa Road, El Cajon, CA 92019).

The event will kick off at 7 a.m. with registration, complimentary coffee, breakfast and Bloody Mary’s, followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Along with the 18-hole tournament, there will be a putting contest and other fun activities for players on the course. All participants will receive complimentary swag, unlimited beverages and food stations on-the-course, and beverages on the carts. Each player will also receive one mulligan and one raffle ticket.

An awards reception will take place after the tournament, where players can gather in the banquet lawn area for drinks, food, announcement of the award and auction winners, and the raffle ticket drawing.

All funds raised will directly benefit Home of Guiding Hands’ services, which includes housing, early childhood development, independent living skills, life planning, respite, and more. The organization is one of the largest providers of supports and services in San Diego County, serving more than 4,700 infants, adolescents, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Tickets begin at $300, and participants can register as individuals or as a team of four. To secure a sponsorship, donate, or register to play, please visit HGHgolfclassic.org.

Guests of a previous golf tournament enjoy the recreational benefits of the event while supporting Home of Guiding Hands.
