Enjoy A Jolly Good Time at the Annual Tree Lighting & Holiday Market
The East Village Association welcomes the holiday season with the return of the neighborhood’s cherished tradition, the East Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market. Taking place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, November 30 at the new and expanded location of Faultline Park (located at 1433 Island Ave), the event promises a festive evening full of cheer for the entire community. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to come together and kick off the holiday season with bright lights, joyful music, delicious treats from local vendors, and plenty of merry moments.
This year’s celebration will include a vibrant holiday market coordinated by Las Jefas, featuring a variety of hand-crafted gifts perfect for seasonal shopping. Guests can enjoy live music, tasty food and drinks, fun activities for the kids, and of course, capture the magic with a photo alongside Santa Claus. As always, the evening will sparkle with festive décor and community spirit.
At 6:45 pm, the East Village Association, joined by San Diego’s elected officials, will host the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony, marking the joyful start of the season. This year’s ceremony will include the unveiling of a brand-new tree, bringing a fresh sparkle to this cherished tradition and making the moment even more special.
“There is something truly magical about turning our beloved neighborhood into an unforgettable holiday experience,” said Dominic Li Mandri, district manager of East Village Association. “This year, we’re especially excited to bring the celebration to Faultline Park, a vibrant space that allows us to grow the event and welcome even more of the community. We cannot wait to see everyone at the East Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market.”
