2023 Cymbiotika San Diego Open is Presented by ResMed
Women’s Professional Tennis Event to be Played at Barnes Tennis Center
Tickets for the 2023 Cymbiotika San Diego Open Presented by ResMed are available. The WTA 500 women’s professional tournament is scheduled for Saturday, September 9 through Saturday, September 16 at Barnes Tennis Center located at 4490 West Point Loma Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92107.
Tickets can be purchased on SeatGeek.com which can be accessed through the official tournament website at https://wtasdopen.com/.
This year’s event is also offering chalet tickets in the North Baseline VIP section for groups of 12 up to 96 ticket holders. Prices range from $150 to $250 per person depending on the session. All chalet tickets include VIP Hospitality.
During the Cymbiotika San Diego Open, the tournament venue at Barnes Tennis Center will feature an intimate Stadium Court with a capacity of 2,500 and Stadium 2 with 500 seats.
“We are looking forward to another exciting WTA tournament in September with the top players in the world coming to San Diego. I encourage fans to purchase tickets as soon as possible,” said Tournament Director Ryan Redondo. “We are expecting a strong player field and will be making player announcements in the coming weeks.”
The Cymbiotika San Diego Open will offer $780,637 in prize money and have a 28-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw. Qualifying rounds are scheduled to be played September 9-10 with Main Draw matches starting September 11 and concluding with the singles and doubles final on September 16.
The starting times for each day of the 2023 Cymbiotika San Diego Open will be as follows:
Day 1 Qualifying – Saturday, September 9 – 10 a.m.
Day 2 Qualifying – Sunday, September 10 – 11 a.m.
Main Draw Day Sessions – Monday, September 11 — Friday, September 15 – 11:30 a.m.
Main Draw Evening Sessions – Monday, September 11 — Friday, September 15 – 5:30 p.m.
Doubles Championship – Saturday, September 16 – 1:30 p.m.
Singles Championship – Saturday, September 16 – 4 p.m.
World No. 1 Iga Swiatek of Poland captured the singles title at last year’s inaugural San Diego Open with a thrilling 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 victory over Donna Vekic of Croatia before a capacity crowd on Stadium Court at Barnes Tennis Center. Americans Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula defeated Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Giuliana Olmos of Mexico 1-6, 7-5, 10-4 to win the doubles championship.
