The Harvest Moon Dinner will be hosted at 930 Orchard Lane, Julian, California, 92036. This special event serves as a fundraiser for the Ilan-Lael Foundation, dedicated to art education and inspiration amidst natural beauty, and will honor the life of beloved artist James Hubbell. Experience a mesmerizing night featuring live music, seasonal dining al fresco, local vineyard wines, and dancing. This year, the Ilan-Lael Foundation introduces its inaugural Visiting Artist Program, highlighting local plein air artists, photographers, and poets.

“This year marked significant changes at the Ilan-Lael Foundation, particularly with the passing of James Hubbell,” said Marianne Gerdes, Executive Director of the Ilan-Lael Foundation. “While we continue to mourn the loss of James, we are looking forward to honoring his legacy and achievements at the Harvest Moon Dinner. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to express gratitude to our generous donors for their support of the Ilan-Lael Foundation.”

The Harvest Moon Dinner promises a magical evening in Julian, blending live music, open-air dining, local wines, and dancing under the stars. The highlight of the event, the inaugural Visiting Artist Program, will showcase the works of eight artists inspired by the Ilan-Lael grounds. These artists embody James Hubbell’s values of nature appreciation, sincerity, and art’s impact on our world.

Throughout the evening, guests can participate in a silent auction featuring works of the Visiting Artist Fellows, with proceeds benefiting the Ilan-Lael Foundation. The featured art pieces will later be exhibited at the Santa Isabel Art Gallery from October 1 to 28, followed by the Union Hall Gallery from November 1 to December 1.

Tickets are priced at $175 per person or $350 per couple, with sponsorship opportunities available for tables of 8. Guests planning to attend are requested to RSVP by September 1. To Purchase tickets, please call the Ilan-Lael Foundation office at (760)765-3427.
