North Park Pub Crawl Brings Out Lot of Supporters for a Cause

| August 5, 2024 | 0 Comments

Home of Guiding Hands, a nonprofit organization that provides quality support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hosting an Olympics-themed pub crawl in North Park on Saturday, August 10, 2024. The pub crawl invites the community to raise a glass, raise awareness, and raise funds to improve the lives of all who are served by the organization.

The crawl will hit three of the neighborhood’s most popular pubs, starting at North Park Beer Company. Once all are on board, participants will follow the torch bearers to The Original 40 Brewing Company and Mike Hess Brewing for more sips. All attendees are encouraged to sport their favorite Olympics event attire for a chance to win the Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal prize.

All funds raised will directly benefit Home of Guiding Hands’ services, which includes housing, early childhood development, independent living skills, life planning, respite, and more.

Tickets start at $65 per person and include a free drink at each location, tasty food at two locations, a pub crawl pint glass, and a bag filled with pub crawl essentials. Participants must be 21 years of age.

To purchase tickets, visit https://www.northparkpubcrawl.org. For questions and information, call 619-938-2854.

A large group of Home of Guiding Hands’ supporters participate in the pub crawl event.
