Sip & Sample Culinary Delights at the 2nd Annual Taste of East Village
Prepare your taste buds for East Village’s largest taste event of the Summer! The Taste of East Village is back from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, August 28 and Thursday, August 29. Culinary enthusiasts will enjoy tasty bites and sips from more than 30 of East Village’s top culinary gems showcasing the culinary diversity of the neighborhood. Ticketholders will receive a Taste Passport at check-in to use as a guide for mapping out all participating restaurants in the neighborhood and to keep track of their favorite appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages.
From Michelin recognized faire to street style bites, the Taste of East Village offers visitors and loyal patrons the opportunity to discover new culinary favorites and celebrate the vibrant restaurant scene in East Village. Upon arrival to the event, attendees will check-in at their scheduled time at one of two locations, depending on the event day, where they will be given their Taste Passport. On August 28, guests can check-in at Radian (675 9th Avenue), and on August 29 check-in will be at Fairweather (793 J Street), both located in downtown San Diego.
Guests will then make their way to each restaurant stop, sampling “tastes” to enjoy at their leisure, with each earning a stamp on their passport. The foodie event will feature bites and sips from some of East Village’s finest restaurants and bars including. A limited number of early bird tickets are available for $40 and general tickets will be available for $45, plus a service fee.
