“Spookeasy: Blackout Party” to Support Individuals with Disabilities
St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC), a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will celebrate Halloween with an electric speakeasy bash. The annual “Spookeasy” returns on Saturday, October 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at a secret location on SMSC’s five-acre campus.
This year’s Spookeasy is a Blackout Party, inviting guests to wander through SMSC’s illuminated hidden gardens for a night of neon thrills. This one-of-a-kind Halloween experience features a live DJ to keep the dance floor glowing, unlimited craft cocktails, and gourmet bites to indulge in all evening long.
Under the glowing, eerie blacklight, this haunted speakeasy will have spooky surprises lurking in every corner. Guests can brave a haunted scavenger hunt leading to hidden treasures and vibrant photo opportunities throughout the venue.
Attendees are encouraged to light up the night by wearing their boldest neon or glow-in-the-dark looks for a chance to win the costume contest. The party will also include a live and silent auction, and an exclusive cigar bar.
Beyond being the ultimate Halloween bash, Spookeasy supports a vital local cause. All proceeds benefit SMSC’s nationally recognized programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including creative arts, job training, and life-skills programs that foster independence and confidence.
This is a 21 and up event. Tickets are on sale now starting at $39. All tickets include unlimited food and access to all entertainment including the scavenger hunt, costume contest and photo-ops. VIP tickets include early entry, access to the private lounge, and a premium liquor bar featuring top-shelf bottles. To RSVP, please visit https://spookeasy.org/
