Union Bank Sponsors Mobile Medical Unit

Union Bank, N.A., has partnered with Scripps to sponsor its Mobile Medical unit, a 40-foot motor coach equipped with two examination rooms, a nurse’s station, state-of-the-art telecommunications and interior/exterior television screens providing patient education. The Mobile Medical Unit travels to events around San Diego, as well as neighborhoods that are underserved by health care resources, and provides basic health services and screenings to the community.

“Our partnership with Scripps and support of the Mobile Medical Unit helps to demonstrate Union Bank’s commitment and dedication to improving health and wellness throughout San Diego,” said Bruce Breslau, senior vice president of Corporate Banking for Union Bank.

The Scripps Mobile Medical Unit offers a variety of community-based screenings and services, including blood pressure screenings, diabetes risk assessments, Body Mass Index (BMI) evaluations, and sleep apnea risk assessments. In addition, at select events the unit offers urgent care services, skin cancer screenings, cholesterol screenings, flu vaccination clinics and more.
