Lichtman Named to U.S. Volleyball Woman’s National Team
Cassidy Lichtman, a graduate of Francis Parker School in 2007 and of Stanford University in 2011, was one of 12 players selected to represent the United States on the Women’s National Volleyball Team in the XVI Pan American Games at Guadalajara, Mexico. The competition took place from October 14-30 at the Pan American Volleyball Stadium.
During her time at Parker, Lichtman, a Poway native, helped the girls’ volleyball team to CIF State Championships in 2004 and 2005 before going to Stanford where she would become a four-year starter. While at Stanford, Lichtman earned back-to-back AVCA First Team All-American honors as a junior and senior while also helping the Cardinal to NCAA Divison I National Runner-Up finishes in 2007 and 2008.
